Eland House HQ, London
The unusual form is derived from restrictions due to a viewing corridor to St Pauls from Richmond Park 12 miles away, and an awkward site between Georgian streets and an insensitive 60’s development, The Department of the Environment HQ in London was lauded as the most environmentally aware and most pre-fabricated urban office building when first opened in London.
